| My mother raised Miniature Schnauzers, so I've always had one in my life. But it wasn't until I met Gwen Mulheron of Daree Miniature Schnauzers in 1997 that I understood what a beautiful breed this could be. Gwen placed a retired show champion with me. He and I trained in obedience, agility and earthdog trials. I'm proud to say that he received the AMSC Versatility Award from our National Breed Club. I've been showing in conformation since 1998. In 2001 I moved from the Midwest to the Pacific Northwest to live with, work for and learn from Gwen Mulheron of Daree. |
| I've belonged to the Portland Miniature Schnauzer Club and the American Miniature Schnauzer Club since 2002. I continue to strive to improve and protect the quality of the Miniature Schnauzers that I breed. |
| I continue to show in conformation and do a limited amount of breeding. I would like to return to the obedience ring. I am always available to discuss or share information that I've collected regarding the Miniature Schnauzers. |
| Kroeger, Linda |
Linda is married to member Don Schuessler. She is interested in obedience. |
| Levy, Chris |
| I've been showing Miniature Schnauzers since 1972, and have bred or owned 28 champions, most of whom I bred, conditioned, and handled myself. Six of the champions were group winners, and one was the #1 female Schnauzer in the country, all owner-handled. I also put a UD on my first Schnauzer and a CDX on my first champion, and CDs on several other dogs (not Schnauzers). |
| I have been a member of Portland Miniature Schnauzer Club since 1972 and have held most offices at one time or other. I am not breeding Miniature Schnauzers right now, but will always have at least one or two since I will always be, first and foremost, a 'Schnauzer person.' |
| Pepper, Nila |
| I got my first Miniature Schnauzer in the summer of 1979. By 1981 I had joined PMSC via the efforts of passed member Loretta Scholenbach. During my time as a member I have been secretary, parking coordinator for many dog shows involving the club, and florist for our "Specialties." I also arranged a few banquets at shows. |
| I started showing my own dogs in the summer of 1987. In the summer of 1989 I became co-owner of a beautiful bitch that was well on her way to getting her championship. Do to illness I was unable to carry on, but sent her out with a handler, which turned out to be a bad experience for her. No more for her. I have one of her grandsons, a lovely dog with lots of potential, again he's decided that was enough. We hope to carry on with a breeding from him. |
| I've enjoyed being a member for the last 22 years and watching the club grow. My family and I love to come to the Schnauzer Walk. It has become tradition for our summer picnic and to see all Schnauzer owners, and their pets, some with my breeding. |
| My kennel name is Ashanti Miniature Schnauzers. I will continue to support the Club. |
| Schuessler, Don |
Don is married to member Linda Kroeger. He is interested in obedience. |
| Shroyer, Rosilyn "Roz" |
| My husband and I owned pet Schnauzers for 15 years before I got involved with Miniature Schnauzer Rescue, Inc. (MSR) in 1995, a non-profit organization for the placement of Minis that can no longer be kept by their owners. I worked with MSR fostering and placing rescued Minis for more than 11 years. |
| Theone Hutchman and I started doing rescue work together in 2006. Then in 2008 we started MapleCreek Miniature Schnauzer Rescue, a rescue group in Southwest Washington serving WA, OR and ID. It has been extremely rewarding for both of us. MapleCreek Miniature Schnauzer Rescue operates as a not-for-profit organization. You can learn more about what we do and how you can help with our rescue efforts on our website MaplecreekMSR.org. |
| About 9 years ago we were fortunate to obtain two females from a breeder who could no longer keep her dogs and allowed us to breed them and show their puppies if they ended up to be show quality pups. That is when my husband and I started MapleCreek Miniature Schnauzers. Since then we obtained our foundation bitch "B.J.", a "Rep" daughter. |
| We have been breeding and improving our lines ever since, showing those Minis that have promise. |

| Russ and I are extremely proud of all four beautiful and handsome dogs. You can see pictures of them on MySchnauzer.net. |
| Our priority in our breeding program has always been and will always be Health first, Personality second, Conformation third and other appointments last. We absolutely adore our Minis. Our dogs and puppies are raised in our home and given a lot of love and hands-on attention. We expose them to as many types of situations as we can so they are very well socialized before they leave us. This is important for both the pups we sell as pets and also for the pups we keep to show. |
| All of our dogs are very solid and agile. The puppies we sell as pets have natural ears unless otherwise specified and are sold on a spay/neuter contract and are not to be bred. |

| My husband "Huggy Jack" and I raise show and pet Salt & Pepper puppies with the natural ear look. I have had several champion males. My breeding is for those of you who want a happy family dog that will fit in anywhere. |
| Our first Miniature Schnauzer was Korky aka Mitternaughtsekkoerklein aka Midnight Champagne Kork. He was a true black and our true love. Our kennel, Koerklein's Miniature Schnauzers, was named in honor of that huggy boy doggie. |
| I have served the Portland Miniature Schnauzer Club as secretary in the past. I no longer show, because of health reasons, but still breed a litter now and then. Our other two girls that live here are retired show veterans and mothers to excellent show and pet puppies. |
